How the Crypto market tends to work
If you look at the top 10 Cryptocurrencies on Coingecko, you will not most of the time the market is doing the same thing. If Bitcoin goes up , most of the rest of the market went up. When Bitcoin goes down, most of the rest of the market goes down too but more violently.
Below is a photo of Coingecko, and you see where the 1h time frame frame is, that most of the Cryptos didn't move much at all in the last hour. On a different day you might see + or - 3% and so on in that spot.

So in that sense, Bitcoin is like the Sun in the sky. When it shines, the alt coins tend to glow and become bright (Go up in price) . When the sun goes down and the moon comes out, the alt-coins become dark (go down in price).
